Setting Up Access to Your Business Pages

If another person owns or manages the business page, ask them to grant access to the Google or Facebook account you plan to connect to Mirror App.

Granting Access to a Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile supports two main access levels:
• Owner has full control over the Business Profile and can add or remove other users
• Manager can manage business information, respond to reviews, publish posts, and perform most day-to-day actions
Both roles can be used to access the Business Profile. In most cases, the Manager role is sufficient for connecting reviews to Mirror App.
To add an owner or manager:
1
Sign in to the Google account that currently owns the Business Profile
2
Open your Business Profile in Google Search or Google Maps
3
Click the next to the profile settings
4
Select Business Profile settingsPeople and access
5
Click Add in the upper-left corner
6
Enter the email address of the person you want to add
7
Under Access, select Owner or Manager
8
Click Invite
The invited person will receive an email from Google. They must accept the invitation before connecting the Business Profile to Mirror App.
note
Each person should use their own Google account. You do not need to share the primary owner’s password

Requesting Access to an Existing Google Business Profile

If the Business Profile is already managed by someone else:
2
Enter the business name and address
3
Select the business from the search results
4
Click Request Access
5
Sign in to the Google account that currently owns the Business Profile
The current owner will receive your request. Learn more about requesting ownership of a Business Profile.

Granting Access to a Facebook Page

Facebook no longer uses the old Page role called Administrator. The equivalent permission is now called Facebook access with full control.
A person with full control can manage the Page, its settings, permissions, connected applications, and other people’s access.
To grant Facebook Page access:
1
Sign in to Facebook using an account that already has full control of the Page
2
Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner
3
Select See all profiles and switch to the required Page
4
Click the Page profile picture
5
Open Settings & privacy and select Settings
6
Select Page setup → open Page access
7
Find People with Facebook access and click Add New
8
Click Next
9
Search for the person by name or email address
10
Select the person you want to add
11
Enable Allow this person to have full control
12
Click Give Access
13
Enter your Facebook password to confirm
The invited person must accept the invitation before using their Facebook account to connect the Page to Mirror App. Only a person who already has Facebook access with full control can add, edit, or remove other people’s Page access.
note
Facebook may display slightly different menu names depending on whether the Page is managed directly through Facebook or through Meta Business Suite

If the Facebook Page Is Managed Through Meta Business Suite

If the Page belongs to a Meta Business Portfolio, access may need to be assigned through Meta Business Suite:
1
Open Meta Business Suite
2
Go to Settings → select People → click Invite people
3
Enter the person’s email address
4
Select the required access level
5
Assign the relevant Facebook Page under Business assets
6
Grant the permissions required to manage the Page and connected integrations
7
Send the invitation
After accepting the invitation, the person should check that the Page appears under their Facebook account before connecting it to Mirror App.
note
Never share your Google or Facebook password with another person. Grant access through the official Google Business Profile or Facebook Page settings instead
